Girl of the Year 2020 | Joss Kendrick | American Girl Doll Review

Joss Kendrick is a competitive cheerleader and surfer from Southern California who was born deaf in her left ear, but still retains some hearing ability in her right ear with the help of a hearing aid. Joss never backs down from a challenge, even if it means taking a chance on something new, like trying out for cheer. But landing a spot on the cheer team is harder than it looks:  Joss is hard of hearing, and often misses the count. She’s determined to prove herself as a cheerleader and a surfer girl and realizes that an all-in attitude and having an open mind. Joss shows girls the importance of trying new things, and being a good team player!
