American Girl Spirit
Samantha's full name is Samantha Mary Parkington. She was one of the first original three American Girl BeForever dolls, along with Molly and Kirsten. Samantha is from Mount Bedford, New York, where she was born on May 26, 1895. When Samantha moves to New York City with her Aunt Cornelia and Uncle Gardner, she finds out that her best friend Nellie O'Malley has been placed in an orphanage with her two younger sisters. Samantha soon realizes that she is a girl who is strong, confident and a great public speaker, yet she still has compassion that can really make a difference. When Samantha is at home she loves to play the piano and read The Wizard of Oz.
